Los Angeles is currently grappling with its most destructive fire in history, with multiple wildfires raging across the city. As of Thursday morning, at least five people have been confirmed dead, and approximately 130,000 residents are under evacuation orders or warnings.
The largest and most destructive of these fires is the Palisades Fire, which has burned more than 17,200 acres between Malibu and Santa Monica. Other fires included the Eaton Fire in Altadena, the Hearst Fire in the San Fernando Valley, the Lydia Fire, and the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Mountains.

The Cody Fry concert scheduled for January 10 at Walt Disney Concert Hall has been postponed. Ticketholders will receive a new date as soon as it is arranged.
5. Glaive at Echoplex
The hyperpop artist Glaive announced the cancellation of his shows at Echoplex on January 10 and 11, attributing the decision to the ongoing wildfires.
6. Bad Bad Hats at The Echo
Indie-pop band Bad Bad Hats postponed their show at The Echo on January 9, citing safety concerns. They assured fans that the venue would contact them with rescheduled details.
7. Schumann & Brahms Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall
The classical concerts featuring Louis Langree and Sunwook Kim, initially scheduled for January 9-11, have been canceled. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
8. Tommy Emmanuel at Smothers Theatre
Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel’s January 9 concert at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre in Malibu has been canceled due to the Palisades Fire. Ticket buyers will receive further instructions via email.
9. Quinn Sullivan and Hamish Anderson at The Troubadour
The blues-rock concert on January 9 at The Troubadour, featuring Quinn Sullivan and Hamish Anderson, has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.
