Cage the Elephant has concluded its most extensive tour to date, marking a pivotal achievement in the band’s career.
In 47 shows across North America, the tour sold more than 440,000 tickets and raised more than $25 million, setting new records for the group of Kia Stage in California, Red Rocks in Colorado -They performed at stunning venues like the Amphitheater, . Moody Center in Austin, and Madison Square Park in New York City
The “Neon Pill Tour” kicked off May 17 at the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where they promoted their latest album, Neon Pill. The final show took place this past weekend, September 27th, at the Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City.
In an interview earlier this year, founding member and rhythm guitarist Brad Schultz emphasized the personal meaning of this album and tour. In a conversation with Consequence backstage at Bonnaroo 2024, he reflected on the emotional resonance of playing Neon Pill, saying, “It’s close to home, so being able to share it with our family and friends. .. I think it’s a record to be proud of”.
Following their successful tour, Cage the Elephant will join Oasis on a North American tour next summer.
