On Wednesday morning, veteran NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, 55, took to Twitter to announce his retirement from sports journalism. After retiring from a major role at ESPN, where he became the most influential voice in basketball news, Wojnarowski will take on a new challenge as his alma mater, St. Louis. Chancellor of Bonaventure University





Wojnarowski will focus on recruiting and Name, Picture, Like (NIL) programs to assist friend and head coach Mark Schmidt in reviving the Bonnies' basketball program and return to the NCAA Tournament . . . . This dramatic career change comes at a time when Wojnarowski could have easily turned down offers at other major college programs to pursue lucrative opportunities in the athletic department or an NBA front office and instead chose to he will play his dream role, to showcase the deep-rooted relationship he has with St Bonaventure , where he found his feet and confidence.




Known for his exceptional writing and competitive spirit, Wojnarowski had always been about winning—whether it was blockbusters or now, getting the highest hires. His journey from an intern at the Hartford Courant to a prominent NBA journalist reflects his tireless pursuit of excellence.




Stepping away from the fast-paced world of sports journalism, Wojnarowski is eager to use his skills and connections to increase the Bonies' chances of winning and though maybe he didn't pursue crime though, but now his focus will be on nurturing success with the activity he loves.




Good luck to the Atlantic Ten, as Wojnarowski's competitive spirit will surely be influential in his new role.
