British Grand Prix: Brad Pitt's 'F1' movie trailer is out.

 Apple and Warner Bros. Pictures have unveiled the teaser trailer for the 2025 film "F1," which is helmed by Lewis Hamilton.

The British Grand Prix, a staple in Formula 1's calendar, has garnered attention with the release of a trailer for Brad Pitt's upcoming movie centered around the high-stakes world of F1 racing.

The movie, starring Brad Pitt, is set for release in June 2025.

The teaser was released 30 minutes before the start of the British Grand Prix and saw Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes, talking to Irish actor Kerry Condon.

"Ok. Red Bull. Ferrari. Mercedes. Aston. Now McLaren. All have us beat on the straight. Our shot is battling in the turns. We need to build our car for combat," Pitt says in the clip.

Condon, playing the technical director of the fictional APX GP team, responds: "How am I going to make that safe?"

Pitt then replies: "Who said anything about safe?"

Queen's "We Will Rock You" then plays over a montage of racing scenes.

June 25 will mark the worldwide premiere of the film, which was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and helmed by "Top Gun: Maverick" director Joseph Kosinski.

Thus far, a number of Formula One drivers and teams have participated in the shooting process.


Former Haas manager Guenther Steiner makes a brief appearance in the teaser film, looking down from the pitwall while sporting the jersey of his old team.

The film centers on the fictitious former racer Sonny Hayes, who makes an unexpected comeback with the APX GP team in a scenario that takes place in 2023.

The teaser featured photos of Pitt and co-star Damson Idris operating the two vehicles, as well as real racing video that had been altered to feature the APX GP cars. 

In a customized Mercedes utilized for shooting, Pitt and Idris have both been driving real laps.

This week, both actors have been filming sequences at Silverstone on location.


Pitt attended the drivers' weekly Friday briefing with the Formula One team. On Saturday, following qualifying, he made an appearance in the TV pen to record a scenario in which he looked to be participating following a typical practice.
